The Permanent Collection

Posted on Sep 21 , 2010 in Permanent Collection

The Museo maintains a small but impressive permanent collection of paintings, sculptures, photographs, and works on paper by prominent Italian and Italian-American artists. Included are several works by such internationally recognized painters as Francesco Clemente, Sandro Chia, Giorgio De Chirico, Tom Marioni, Mimmo Paladino, Emilio Tadini, John Grillo and many others. We have sculptures by Beniamino Bufano, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Elio Benvenuto, David Bottini,  Italo Scanga, and Alan Shepp to name a few. Fine examples of earlier 20th century artists Rinaldo Cuneo, Giuseppe Cadenasso, and Gottardo Piazzoni complement the collection as well as precious 18th century etchings by Antonio Visentini and Pietro Testa.

The Museo periodically exhibits a selection from its permanent collection, and continually seeks to expand its permanent collection of art by Italian and Italian-American artists. If you are interested in donating a work of art to the Museo, please contact us.
