Historical Archive

Home » Historical Archive

In late 2008, the Museo Italo Americano undertook the Historical Archive Project, asking the Italian-American community to donate to the Museo historical material pertaining to their ancestors who emigrated from Italy.  Since that time, we have received photographs, documents, clothing, household objects and other articles that the immigrants had either brought from Italy or obtained after arriving here.  These items, many of historical importance, have been photographed, stored and catalogued into the Museo’s Historical Archive Collection.

If you have historical material of this type and are willing to make it available to the Museo please contact the Museo’s curator, Mary Serventi Steiner, to discuss how you can assist in this important and exciting preservation of our Italian-American history.

The Museo Italo-Americano is a non-profit organization. Tax ID # available upon request. SITE MAP
