About the Artist
Giovanni Cerri is attracted to a narrative form, focusing on the urban landscape and the interpretation of industrial archaeology. He presents a new series of images inspired by Milan during the COVID-19 pandemic. Preceded by numerous works done as studies and a selection of drawings, this new cycle of paintings is introduced by a title that evokes the Ingmar Bergman film, Hour of the Wolf (1968).
