The Museo is thrilled to partner with the San Francisco Wine School on the upcoming virtual winetasting event entitled “Battle of the Grapes – Italy vs California” at 6:00 pm on Friday, September 25.

Hosted by San Francisco Wine School founder David Glancy, MS, CWE, this event will feature a blind tasting of Pinot Grigio, Vermentino, Barbera and Sangiovese from vineyards in Italy and California. Glancy is one of only twelve people in the world to hold both the revered Master Sommelier diploma and a Certified Wine Educator credential. A certified French Wine Scholar, Italian Wine Professional, and Certified Specialist of Spirits, Glancy has earned the credential for every program he teaches.

Special guest: Shelley Lindgren, owner A16 restaurants and San Francisco’s beloved champion of Italian wine!

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Museo, which has been closed since March due to the pandemic, so this is a wonderful opportunity to drink well and do good!

Tickets:
