In conjunction with our current exhibit “Colori tra cielo e terra – Colors Between Heaven and Earth” by Piedmontese artist Angela Sepe Novara, Associazione Piemontesi nel Mondo organizes a special event that celebrates the Italian region of Piemonte:
- Screening of the movie Don Bosco (1935) – directed by Goffredo Alessandrini and featuring a portrayal of the life of the Catholic priest Giovanni Bosco (1815-1888), who was the founder of a religious order that cares for homeless boys.
- Reception of Piedmontese specialties and wines

This event falls under “Programma Piemonte”, organized in collaboration with Istituto Italiano di Cultura, under the patronage of the Consul General of Italy in San Francisco, and Associazione Piemontesi nel Mondo of Northern California, with the purpose of highlighting the culture of Italy’s Piedmont region.
