The Leonardo Da Vinci Society in collaboration with the Museo Italo Americano  invite you to a lecture by the Museo’s own Angela Capobianco Little.

Dr. Little has three degrees from the University of California, Berkeley: a BA in biochemistry and bacteriology, MS in Food Science and PhD in Agricultural Chemistry.  Angela was a research specialist and professor of the Department of Nutritional Sciences and Toxicology and focused on the role of the sensory apparatus on appetite, food intake and the effect of nutritional status on the sensory organs.  In the 1990’s she served as President of the Bay Area History of Medicine Society  and it was there that she developed her interest in the history of medicine and especially Italian women in medicine.
