Step into the captivating world of Italian Cinema with a three-movie series at the Museo Italo Americano. Join us for screenings of timeless masterpieces: Roberto Rossellini’s ‘Paisá (1946),’ Michelangelo Antonioni’s ‘Blow Up (1966)’ and Lina Wertmüller’s ‘Seven Beauties (1975).’

Led by the insightful professor Dominic Angerame, each workshop delves into masterpieces of Italian Cinema. Across three sessions, we will unravel the cinematic brilliance of Roberto Rossellini, Michangelo Antonioni, and Lina Wertmüller. Together, we’ll dissect their filmic techniques, explore the profound themes, and ponder the implications embedded in their works.

In the upcoming session, Dominic Angerame will present ‘Seven Beauties‘ by Lina Wertmüller. Pasqualino, a small-time hood, must betray all moral values while trying to survive WW2 and his internment in a Nazi death-camp.
