BATS Improv is a professional theatre company and an artistic community that cultivates and innovates the craft of improvised theatre through engaging, playful, creative performance and training.  Founded in 1986, they are the most highly acclaimed and longest-running improvised theatre company and school in San Francisco and all of Northern California.

The Museo is pleased to partner with BATS Improv during the whole month of April!
Every Friday they offer a special show called “This scene was about…”, stemmed from the mind of Italian improviser Fabio Maccioni.
Every show is completely improvised, on the spot – no scripts, no pre-planning.  The audience will find out what is happening at the same time the actors do, and each new scene is inspired by the previous scene. It is an exciting unpredictable night of laughs, surprises, and great improvised theatre!
