Watercolor workshop with artist and Teacher Pamela Rhodes
Saturday May 4, Saturday May 11 and Saturday May 18

Each session from 9.15 AM to 12.15 PM

Painting Italian land and cityscapes in watercolor; these three classes will provide the artist with a repeatable and simple approach to painting from photographs. Build a solid foundation for using pencil, colored pencil or watercolor; keeping it simple to capture that special image.

Lectures, demonstrations, practice exercises, personal attention, and reference handouts are included. Students complete simple exercises between sessions. A detailed material list will be provided to registrants.

We’ll cover:
* Materials and Equipment: paper, pencils, paint and brushes
* Techniques: transferring images, composition, creating values, adding detail, capturing the memory
* Color and mixing
* The Painting Process
* Back to Basics Composition
* Presentation

Student participation is encouraged and expected. The class fee does not include the cost of painting materials

Cost includes three Saturday sessions
Museum Members: $160
Museo Non members: $200

Students will supply their own materials.
A list of the basic supplies will be sent with your registration confirmation.  You will receive a link to the “Teacher’s Cart” on a local and internet art supply store detailing the recommended items. Items can be obtained elsewhere.
