Leonardo Da Vinci Society, in cooperation with Museo Italo Americano, cordially invites you to Festa della Befana.

HISTORY: in Italian folklore, Befana is an old woman who delivers gifts to children throughout Italy on Epiphany Eve (the night of January 5) in a similar way to St.Nicholas or Santa Claus. Michelle Longega Wilson, an 11-year-old Amazon bestselling author, will tell you some stories, history, and magic of Befana.

CONTEST: every child is invited to recite a Befana poem in English or Italian. Come prepared to either read your poem or recite it from memory. The winner receives the Magical Befana Hat!

GAMES, REFRESHMENTS, FUN FOR ALL AGES.
EACH CHILD WILL RECEIVE A BEFANA STOCKING FULL OF GOODIES!
