A New Look at Olive Oil

The Museo is excited to partner with AEmilia Import on the upcoming virtual olive oil lecture and tasting event entitled “A New Look At Olive Oil”.

Hosted by AEmilia founder Vito Fabbrizio, this event will focus on the history of Olive Oil, its economic and cultural importance, as well as the nutritional and cosmetic benefits. Vito is an importer of fine food since 2010, always focused on bringing high quality, sustainable products into the US with a core business on wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Vito is passionate about history and brings new perspectives on products in order to illustrate how they form part of Italy’s cultural heritage.

Special guest is Sofia Fabbrizio, a graduate from University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Nutritional Science – emphasis in Dietetics.

The event includes:

  • A package containing 1 liter of the award winning Italian extra virgin olive oil from oil mill Andreassi (Abruzzo, Italy) and an olive oil artisanal soap bar
  • 45-minute talk and guided tasting

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Museo. This is a wonderful opportunity to know more about Olive Oil, one of the jewels of the Mediterranean diet
